Dr. Leventouri is an experimental condensed matter physicist. She has organized an x-ray powder diffraction laboratory, equipped with a state of the art computer controlled, Siemens D 5000 diffractometer with programs for qualitative and quantitative structural analysis of materials from powder data, and an updated data bank from the International Center for Diffraction Data (ICDD). The Rietveld refinement codes GSAS and DBWS (Win-Rietveld) are used for structure refinements.
