Ph. D. Physics
Alireza Rashti is a Ph. D. candidate in the Department of Physics at Florida Atlantic University. His research focuses on numerical relativity topics, in particular, devising and developing advanced numerical methods and libraries for the construction of initial data and dynamical evolution of astrophysical binary systems such as binary neutron star and black hole neutron star systems. He is the author of the Elliptica infrastructure, a multi-domain pseudo-spectral initial data solver.
