Florida Atlantic University is a multi-campus, State university with campuses in Palm Beach and Broward counties. The Physics Department is situated in the Science & Engineering Building on the main campus in Boca Raton approximately mid-way between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, some 40 miles north of Miami.

From Interstate 95 exit east on Glades Road. Continue to the stoplight with 2 left turn lanes, the main entrance to the FAU campus, and make the left turn. The street name is NW 10th Avenue, which becomes Broward Avenue when you enter the campus.
Follow Broward Avenue as it curves around past the gymnasium and the University Center. The road will eventually lead you to make a right turn onto Lee Street. Proceed east on Lee Street to nearly the end. The Science & Engineering Building is next to the Schmidt Biomedical Building on the right side of the street. Our building has double green smokestacks on top that can be seen from a distance.
Visitors may park at the parking meters in front of the building. If you are visiting campus the entire day, please stop at the Information Booth first (it's right at the entrance to the university) to get a visitor's parking pass.
